    If you are feeling out of your depth, we can set you up with health and safety manuals, forms, and registers all customised specifically for you and your requirements.

    We come to your site and work with you as much, or as little as you need, all the while bearing in mind your budget.

  • First Aid Training

    Initial or Refresher courses.

    Our courses are practical, interactive and cover all the basics needed for workplace first aid, including: CPR, choking, bleeding, fractures, head injuries, heart attacks and much more.

    We can come to your site and deliver training (number dependent) or you can come and spend the day in our Safe On Site training room. We run regular public courses, or you can book a training session for just your workplace.

    First aid training is completed to US 6400, 6401 & 6402, however these are not registered with NZQA. Our trainers are all accredited by the NZ Resuscitation Council

  • Karen - Our Registered Occupational Health Nurse can offer a range of Health Monitoring Services for Pre-employment, Annual and Exit testing. Testing options include:

    - Hearing testing

    - Lung function

    - Eyesight screening

    - Blood glucose

    - Blood pressure checks

    - Free hepatitis C testing

  • Are you unsure if your health and safety processes and procedures are up to date with current legislation? We know it can be hard to keep track of every new requirement. We can review your systems and let you know where any gaps are - Give us a call

  • We can visit your site, identify areas that need more attention, and present our findings in an easy to read report. Reports rate outages in order of importance to be rectified.

  • Safe On Site uses specialised equipment to monitor the noise and dust levels in your workplace and will provide you with an easy to understand report. The report details survey results and can contain recommendations if requested.


  • Drug and alcohol screening services are available at our site or we can come to yours.

    Urine and Saliva testing are both available for:

    - Pre-Employment

    - Reasonable Cause

    - Random

    - Post-Incident testing

  • Safe On Site are able to provide oversight of your renovation/building/civil project. Providing advice and support with:

    - SSSP – review plans and provide recommendations

    - Toolbox meetings and other site meetings

    - Contractor management

    - Site inspections

    - Incident management

  • New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety Practice – Level 3

     We are able to issue NZQA credits for these unit standards:

  • Franz has been an auditor for ACC since 2001. The Fleet Saver programme is still available to those with more than five 3,500kg trucks.

    Franz, Catherine and Rowan are accredited Safetree auditors for the Forest Industry Safety Council.

    Franz and Catherine are accredited Log Transport auditors for the Log Transport Safety Council.

    Franz is an accredited SafePlus and QSafe auditor.

  • Our affiliates at Hazard Management Solutions, can assess, recommend and supply your machine safeguarding requirements. Singular or multiple methods of machine safeguarding can be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards - such as those created by the point of operation.

    Machine assessments will be validated and verified to ensure compliance is met

  • Qualitative fit testing is a pass/fail test method that uses your sense of taste or smell, or your reaction to chemical fumes or airborne particulates to detect leakage into the respirator face piece.

    Ben can come to your workplace and carry out testing or you can send staff to our office. This is often carried out with lung function testing and should be done on an annual basis.
